Hi Everyone, I've been checking every now and again to see if anyone has any comments about the modules, to find our how everyone else is getting on, but you must all be too busy! So far I've really enjoyed the modules - they're interesting and well laid out, but there's always a hint of anxiety in case the questions are going to be difficult. Mostly, when I start answering the questions, I think, "oh, I can do this", and get over-confident. I eagerly await the results, thinking I have got most of it right, then am generally pretty disappointed, because I've received a lower score than expected. This is obviously because, though it seems straight forward, moderating requires a lot of thought and clarity, obviously not to be gone into in a superficial way. I am about to embark on Module 5, again slightly nervous about what to expect, so let's see what happens... Danny

Hi Danny, I totally agree. I have just completed the second module. I felt pretty confident that I understood everything and would have a better result than the first module but no, I scored 1% less. Maybe a danger of over analysing too. I hope you had a good result for your final module and I hope that I can improve for my next. Onwards and upwards.

I am in the middle of module 3,.. its taking a little longer than 1,2 .. perhaps the videos and articles. A lot of info to absorb and just like you , we always worry about the upcoming 'test'. I don't see many people on the forum so I wonder how everyone else is doing. cool

Hi everyone.
Well I seem to be the latest newbie here so any advice you guys can offer will be most appreciated smile
I'm really excited about this opportunity and wish you guys much success in your learning.

I have just finished the first module with a score of 85%, I hoped i had done better. It would be helpful to know what I answered incorrectly so I don't continue to make the same errors. What do you guys think?

Hi Nina, Glad to hear that you are progressing through the training well. I just wanted to answer your comments about getting feedback on the questions you have got wrong. Unfortunately, we have set up the assessments in a way that enables us to protect the questions as much as possible and therefore we are unable to give feedback to individuals on the test. We are considering many options however in our next stage of phase 2 development that will take place this year, but for the time being it's not something that we offer.
Kind regards, Annie smile
Hi, my name is Julia and I'm starting the training now. I'm really excited by this opportunity.
I'm back living in France after 9 years living in the UK. My native language is French and I'm fluent in English. I have leant many more languages (Spanish, German, Sign languages from France and Britain and a bit of Russian and Finnish) although I'm lacking practice in all of these so I don't consider myself qualified in speaking them any more. It's a shame, because I love languages...
I have been involved in some volunteer moderation through the years, but never professionally. I used to be an animator by trade. Moderating professionally is a first and I'm well excited about meeting and discussing with other moderators! smile
Hi guys!
I just joined the Moderation Gateway Training and already liked how it started! Happy to be part of this :)

My best to you all,

Hello everyone!
I'm Charles from Michigan, USA but heading to Dominican Republic later this month. I've just started Gateway training today. I'm excited about the opportunity to become a certified moderator and the flexibility that moderating provides expats who live abroad and wish to work from home. Good luck everyone!smile

Hello Everyone! I trust all had great holidays and are enjoying the New Year.

I must say that the Moderation Gateway training program is exemplary. I would venture to say there are very few organizations who have such well-thought, thoroughly planned training.

The environment is very positive and supportive as well.

Great to be here and all the best to everyone!
