Rachel Bond Hi Everyone,

I've just completed the Moderation training which has been really interesting and enjoyable.

You really do need some peace and quite though, in order to focus. I tried to complete the final assessment last night with two children running around (not a good idea!) and had to keep stopping and starting.

However, after finding some quiet time today I successfully completed the aseesment.

Thank you to Moderation Gateway,
for putting together a home learning course that is interactive and packed with interesting facts.

I am due to start some voluntary work in Moderation soon, with a view to gaining experience and hopefully starting a new paid career in this industry.

Good luck to everybody else who is working on the course, I hope you enjoy it too.

Congratulations from the team at Moderation Gateway. You are absolutely right, the final assessment does require a quiet time and space to complete and make the right moderation decisions.

It's always great to hear when our students enjoy the training - thanks very much for the feedback.

Hi all, my name is Jacqueline and I´m just about to start this training. I´m Dutch but living in Spain, looking forward to this training so I can improve myself ,and to use it in the daily moderating life. smile

Hello all, I have just done modules 1,2 and 3. It's been a great so far, I love the videos and the links given for me to add to my bookmarks. It will make working as a moderator better having all the necessary tools, language and know-how to deal with future cyber-bullies/fraud/groomers etc. Looking forward to the rest of the modules tomorrow! Annie Slee Thanks Helen. Yes the links and videos are really helpful when learning about specific areas of the training content. CEOP's corporate video is such a strong message and always makes me feel so proud about the job that UGC moderators do.

Annie Slee Hi Ann, thanks for dropping in to the forum to say hi. The team at Moderation Gateaway takes it in turns to moderate the forum although there hasn't been any need to perform any moderation on any of the posts so far! All of our students have been super friendly which is greatsmile

I hope you are enjoying the training so far - great to hear about your other work... a concept artist - sounds really interesting. What does that involve exactly? Would love to know.
