Hi, my name is Julia and I'm starting the training now. I'm really excited by this opportunity. I'm back living in France after 9 years living in the UK. My native language is French and I'm fluent in English. I have leant many more languages (Spanish, German, Sign languages from France and Britain and a bit of Russian and Finnish) although I'm lacking practice in all of these so I don't consider myself qualified in speaking them any more. It's a shame, because I love languages... I have been involved in some volunteer moderation through the years, but never professionally. I used to be an animator by trade. Moderating professionally is a first and I'm well excited about meeting and discussing with other moderators!
