THE TEAM

WHO WE ARE

Moderation Gateway consists of a small (yet beautiful formed) dedicated and focussed team of professionals who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you quality and innovative training. We have been together for seven years and our team has ebbed and flowed throughout that time. We enjoy working in a fluid way and our core team is supported by vibrant freelancers and flexi-working contributors who bring a wealth of talent and creativity to the table. We all work from home and enjoy the aspects of working for a virtual training company.

Lisa Craven, Founder and CEO

Lisa’s career spans twenty years of working in the public sector and at the helm of several successful businesses. All of her roles have included her strong interest in personal development and learning. Lisa’s training background hails from a decade at the BBC where she worked within Organisation and Management Development. Her collaboration with social media agency The Social Element has resulted in the first UGC online professional moderation qualification. After identifying the real need for online user-generated content moderation training Lisa has been dedicated to creating Moderation Gateway and its unique online training platform. Lisa’s entrepreneurial sprit and proven ability to implement her ideas in a wide range of business contexts keeps her Moderation Gateway colleagues on their toes and ensures a creative and stimulating environment for the team.

Annie Slee, Company Administrator

Annie makes all of our lives easier over at Moderation Gateway – she keeps us organised and ensures all of our student experiences are flawless. Annie’s career history includes working for both local government and the private sector. Among the various roles Annie has undertaken, she spent 6 years in the IT department within a multi-national pharmaceutical company in the area of business service management. Annie is thrilled to be involved in the Moderation Gateway Foundation Programme and is proud to be part of the team bringing the first UGC moderation certificate. Whilst her core role is ensuring we streamline operations Annie is interested in all aspects of moderation and as a parent herself is particularly focused on children’s internet safety issues – a subject that is especially dear to her heart.
