Hello fellow Moderators! Lets collaborate and get to know one another. ![]() I am interested in learning from the community of professional Moderators who reside in this forum via interactive conversations. So... to kick things off... a question: Where are you now? What Moderation opportunities have opened up for you since your training with Moderation Gateway? |

Hi, I just finished Module 3. I found that the Beatbullying website is not accessible anymore. Anyone knows if the site address has changed? Ganesh |

Hi Ganesh, Thanks very much for posting this information. We do have links with all of the organisations we promote in the training but due to the nature of Beatbullying's issues we were not informed of them going offline and given no warning. Take a look at this link which explains what has happened: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/29715580 In the meantime I will do some investigation and get back to you about any other organisations we recommend for the fight against online bullying :). Thanks again. |

Hello Ganesh, I've done some research and can now provide you with some interesting and additional information. Apart from the websites that are already mentioned in the training: Get Safe Online Childnet Anti-bullying Alliance I've also come across: http://www.internetmatters.org/issues/cyberbullying/antibullying-week-campaign.html This is a great resource and currently supporting 'Anti bullying week' running from 17th - 21st November. The campaign looks at bullying in general as well as cyberbullying. The Moderation Gateway team all agreed that we should add this site as an additional resources link in the training - so thanks again for your helpful post ![]() |
