Today, I completed the foundation training course and passed the final module. Thank you Moderation Gateway for this valuable introduction to 'moderation'. There are two areas that I'm interested in understanding further: 1. RTM Membership - as this is automatic for the first 12 months once the certificate is obtained, does a 'closed' website (intranet) exist for members and how do employers access the register? I note that a quarterly newsletter is distributed to members (by email?). 2. ModerationMatters - how is this website progressing? When will it go 'live'? Many thanks Rachael |

Hi Rachael, Congratulations! It's great news that you've passed the training and you are now a certified moderator. Fantastic :) We will send you the current RTM newsletter shortly and you can join the RTM google+ group. The newsletter is full of interesting industry news and info. Regarding your question about Moderation Matters – as you know we haven't actually launched it as yet. We have decided to concentrate on Moderation Gateway during it's first year although Moderation Matters is still in development. In the meantime (before Moderation Matters becomes operational) we regularly post positions for moderators on our Facebook page so it's definitely worth checking in to see what's new :) We also get some clients asking us to let our moderators know they have a vacancy as well which we also do on Moderation Gateway's Facebook page. When we do launch Moderation Matters we will be writing to all our certified moderators and students to let them know about it. Please be sure to fill in your profile completely on the training platform (if you haven't already done so ;) as we sometimes need to check our database for specific requests from companies looking for moderators.
