It's Community Manager Appreciation Day (CMAD) today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_Manager_Appreciation_Day. CMAD was started in 2010 by Jeremiah Owyang to celebrate the tireless efforts of community managers around the world. The day is scheduled every year on the fourth Monday of January. Community managers spend their day acting as a bridge between their company or brand and the world at large. Today is the day we like to appreciate the great work that community managers perform. If you know a community manager be sure to thank them to let them know they are appreciated. If you are a community manager - thanks for all your hard work.
