MODERATION GATEWAY’S HOUSE RULES When you use our forum please keep in mind our house rules. They are written as a guideline to ensure that the forum is a place where our student Moderators - new and experienced can meet and exchange interesting and helpful information in a safe and friendly environment. Please do not use the forum to post technical or training platform issues you might have. It is unlikely that your issue will be resolved via the forum. For technical issues please email support@moderationgateway.com. When using the forum please: Treat others in the Community, as you would expect them to treat you. Do not engage in any unlawful conduct in the community. In particular, do not post, publish, or distribute any defamatory, obscene, or other unlawful material or information in the forum. Do not engage in personal attacks or any type of "flaming" of other users. Do not post topics or opinions that are designed to provoke a negative response from one or more specific users. Do not use offensive or sexually explicit language. If you have any doubts about whether a particular statement might be considered offensive by other users, do not post it. This not only includes obvious swear words and insults, but any language to which people reading it could reasonably take offence. Do not engage in disruptive activity such as persistent off-topic contributions or comments, or statements that might incite other users to violate these guidelines or participate in illegal activities. Do not incite hatred on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality or sexuality or other personal characteristic. Do not reveal personal details, such as private addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or other online contact details. Do not break the law – this includes libel, condoning illegal activity, and breaking copyright. Do not falsely impersonate any celebrity or person be it another member of the forum or a Moderator. Please also ensure that your ideas and comments: Are respectful of others – comments should not be malicious or offensive in nature, and should not constitute a personal attack on a person’s character Are in English – unfortunately, we do not currently have the resource to moderate comments in other languages Are relevant – please don’t post messages unrelated to this channel or the subject under discussion We reserve the right to delete ideas and comments that breach our guidelines and to suspend the ability to comment at any time. You are responsible and liable for all your activities while participating in the Moderation Gateway forum, including anything you contribute. Moderation Gateway reserves the right to remove at any time, without notice, any contribution that violates these guidelines. Moderation Gateway also reserves the right at any time, without notice, to ban a user who has violated these rules of conduct on our Moderator forums. You may post Internet website links in the Moderator forum (x3 max in any one post). Moderation Gateway is not responsible for the content on the websites associated with these links. In addition, Moderation Gateway reminds you that some content and links on the Internet contain inappropriate material, such as malware or adult content that is not suitable and may be offensive to some users. Use your own judgment when evaluating information. You are responsible for any actions you may take based on information or advice you receive while online. The forum is available for adults of 18 years and over.
